Republic of Kazakhstan
The republic of Kazakhstan, which area is 2.717.300 km, is the ninth largest country in the world. It is located in the center of Eurasia and stretches from the Plain of Volga River in the West to the Altai in the east. State borders on with China, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kirghiztan In 1991 after the disintegration of the Soviet Union Kazakhstan declared about its independence.

Astana - the coldest capital in the world
Astana - capital of Kazakhstan with population 547.000. This city arose in 1997 on the spot, where before stood city Akmola. Astana means “the capital”. Probably, this name was selected because it pleasantly sounds and corresponds to its graphic writing not only in the native language, but also in many foreign languages.
